Terrifying spirit that dwells in dense forests. Its body consists of an animal skull with antlers, from which a pure, volatile mass of spectral blackness emerges, allowing it to change shape at will and take on the image of any living being. They use their shapeshifting ability to mimic intelligent creatures, lure them, possess them, and devour them. They reproduce by possessing females in order to give birth to an antlered forest animal, whose skull will form the body of a new wendigo upon its death. They live in solitude and are greatly feared for their macabre nature.
